239 Ears

Well hello family.

We had a pretty eventful day not too long ago, so I thought I would share it via photos and a little explanation.

On the second of August Mom decided that it would be pretty nice to have some sweet corn for eating right now and in the future. So, she and I headed out at 3pm to a friends farm to get the corn. We decided that we would pick 12 bags worth of corn, one for each month of the year. We had no idea how much corn that actually was. What started out as an enjoyable afternoon turned into a corn freezing marathon. And when I say it was a marathon it means that it was exhausting and lasted forever. One which was so exhausting Dad simply lay down on the living room floor at the end and took a nap. It was a lot of work, but we were finally done at 10:30 pm.

So, does anyone want any frozen corn?

Karl's life at BVU

Hey family, I have good news and I have bad news.

The good news is I will be making regular Vlog entries. The bad news is that I won't have time to update them here everyday. I will post my first video here but it's up to you to find the other entries. You can easily accomplish this by searching my name on YouTube. I should be updating it every other day. Here is the first video.

PHANTIIISMO

"He doesn't need that on the outside, he just needs a little sasparilla on the inside"

Hey, it's Karl giving a short update on my life.

The above quote comes from El Phantismo, the comedy our drama department will be putting on Friday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. Mark your calendar now so you don't forget. Did it? Ok. I will be playing Diego, the love interest of Nina but things do get a little complicated. I don't mean to brag, but it's probably going to be the greatest high school play ever.

The snow kept us from playing our basketball game yesterday, leaving us with one regular season game and district play starting next Monday the 15th. You can tune in to watch me online at Clarion Sports.com at around 6:00 p.m. central.

Also, check this YouTube Series out! It's done by a couple of guys in Clarion and can be funny at times.

Thanks for your time and I hope to see you all soon,
Karl

Football In Clarion Iowa

Hey everyone, just wanted to kind of give a post example

I just got done with a week full of football practice. We had two practices each day that were 2 hours long for a total of at least 4 hours each day of football. Thankfully they decided to let us have Friday afternoon off and our family went to the Iowa state fair to get some delicious, artery clogging, deep fat fried everything. Now it's Saturday and I'm still sore from football and I have to work all day at the pool.

Just in case anybody didn't get the message, I'm excited for our exchange student Martin from Germany to come soon.
